Recreational Survey Report TCEQ has completed a report of its Recreational Use Attainability Analysis (RUAA) for these water bodies.
Public Review of Recreational Survey Report The comment period for the report ended in 2012. TCEQ used the public's comments to make an informed recommendation for the recreational use category and criteria to include in the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards.
TCEQ Recommendations

TCEQ recommended the contact recreation use on Davidson Creek, Nolan Creek/South Nolan Creek, Leon River Below Proctor Lake, Pecan Creek, Plum Creek, Sweetwater Creek, Leon River Below Leon Reservoir, Little Duffau Creek, Still Creek, Mankins Branch, and Upper North Bosque River remain primary contact recreation 1. TCEQ recommended the contact recreation use on Allen's Creek, South Leon River, Indian Creek 1226E, Duncan Creek, Sims Creek, Cottonwood Branch, Thompson Creek, Big Creek, Wasp Creek, Willis Creek, and Unnamed Tributary of Scarborough Creek be revised to secondary contact recreation 1. TCEQ recommended the contact recreation use on Resley Creek, Walnut Creek, Armstrong Creek, Indian Creek 1221D, Goose Branch, North Fork Upper North Bosque River, Scarborough Creek, Unnamed Tributary of Goose Branch, and Woodhollow Branch be revised to secondary contact recreation 2. The use changes were included in the 2014 and 2018 Texas Surface Water Quality Standards. 

Final Outcome

TCEQ retained the primary contact recreation 1 use on Davidson Creek, Nolan Creek/South Nolan Creek, Leon River Below Proctor Lake, Pecan Creek, Plum Creek, Sweetwater Creek, Leon River Below Leon Reservoir, Little Duffau Creek, Still Creek, Mankins Branch, and Upper North Bosque River.

EPA approved the recreational use change on Allens Creek, Indian Creek 1226E, Duncan Creek, Sims Creek, Cottonwood Branch, Willis Creek, Unnamed Tributary of Scarborough Creek, Armstrong Creek, Goose Branch, North Fork Upper North Bosque River, Scarborough Creek, Unnamed Tributary of Goose Branch, Walnut Creek, and Woodhollow Branch

The recreational use change on South Leon River, Thompson Creek, Big Creek, Wasp Creek, Resley Creek, and Indian Creek 1221D is awaiting EPA approval.
