- Discussion of the Monthly Enforcement Report for June, 2001. Ann McGinley,
Enforcement presented this issue. No action taken.
- Discussion related to public notice for air permit amendment applications for
modifications to facilities. John Steib, Air Permits and Margaret Hoffman, Deputy Director
OLS presented this issue. No action taken.
- Consideration for approval to publish and to solicit public comment on certain revised
implementation procedures relating to water quality standards. Faith Hambleton and
Karen Holligan, WP&RM, presented this issue. The Commission approved the request.
- Consideration of legislative issues potentially affecting the TNRCC and actions taken by
the Texas Legislature. The commission may also meet in closed meeting to receive legal
advice regarding these matters, or any of the above matters, as authorized by Section
551.071 of the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Government Code. Any
commission action, decision, or vote on these matters will be made in open meeting in
accordance with Section 551.102 of the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the
Government Code. This issue was not presented.
- Planning for the next Commissioners' Work Session. The next work session is September
14. Topics for this work session include updates on Senate Bill (SB) 2, SB 5, House Bill 2912,
a rulemaking proposal relating to direct referral requirements, and discussion of PST Self-Certification Program, as well as the standing items. Topics tentatively scheduled for the
October 12 work session are work session/agenda workload impacts and permit terms for non-hazardous industrial solid waste facilities
