AND HUNG GROUP, INC. for a Temporary Order to authorize the discharge of effluent at a volume not to exceed a daily maximum of 4,000,000 gallons per day. The applicant operates a mariculture facility which is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of FM 2925 and FM 1847, near the City of Arroyo City, Cameron County, Texas. The effluent is discharged into a drainage ditch along the eastern boundary of the facility; thence to the Arroyo Colorado tidal in Segment No. 2201 of the Nueces- Rio Grande Coastal Basin. The applicant has stated that this request is justified to prevent possible severe economic loss and the breaching of a earthen dam should significant rainfall occur. The Executive Director of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission has recommended that the Order, if issued, be subject to the terms and conditions of the proposed Order. Authorization to dispose of wastewater pursuant to this Order shall terminate 180 days from the date of issuance. (Robert Martinez)
